Saab 9-3 2009 model upgraded with a Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB CarPlay stereo

The team at Dynamic Sounds LTD had this lovely example of a Saab 9-3 in for an audio upgrade and decided on the Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB as a neat in-dash solution.

Replacing the factory satnav head unit with a fresh fascia double-DIN Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB CarPlay Stereo, this upgrade gives you so many new features, including a 6.8” touchscreen stereo, FM radio, DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity, USB, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, to name but a few.

CarPlay is a game changer for any journey, giving you quick access to navigation, music and voice activation to keep things safe while driving.

We used the Connects2 CTKSA01 fitting kit to complete the installation as the kit provides the correct fascia and the steering wheel adaptor which retain the volume controls on the steering wheel.
